Job Connect is a provincially funded program that offers a range of employment services to the public. Our services include one-on-one counselling, employment related workshops, job development, and a free career resource centre. Making positive connections between employers and job seekers is an important focus of our program.
We offer the following services to employers:
Job Postings: We can post your job on our in-house job boards and online on both our internal website and the HRSDC Job Bank. Please click on the link below to post a job.
Application Review: If requested we can review applications and screen for appropriate candidates, referring only those candidates that best suit your hiring needs.
Interviews: If you prefer we can arrange a place to conduct job interviews. In addition, we can provide information on interviews questions, what to look for in a candidate, etc.
Training Incentives: Job Connect may be able to provide training incentives to offset some of the costs of providing on-the-job training and work experience to a Job Connect participant. Please contact us to discuss your hiring needs.
Summer Jobs Service: The Summer Jobs Service assists students in finding a summer job. If you are an employer looking to hire students for the summer you may qualify for a $2.00/hr hiring incentive.
